OK guys don't flame me too bad... ... ... ... . You can tell I have been flamed pretty hard on Pirate if I start out like that..... Huh?

2001 3500 2wd/Auto 3. 73 w EGT Boost and transmission temp gauges

All stock but the K& N Air cleaner element, the EZ Juice Box set on Three, and the wastegate mod where you put the small jet in the hardline leading to the diaphram and drill the new hole.

Question:

Is 32PSI of boost going to be ok on my stock innercooler and everthing else?

Boy it sure makes it alot nicer to drive. She scoots nicely now.

I plan on doing the Exhaust next.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The little HY35 is better down around 27lbs. At 32 you are making some hot air with it. Drive pressure has to be really high also. SNOKING

Snoking is right... . just a little higher than you should be making with an HY but not too bad. The intercooler will be FINE.

Good Luck!

I've been doing that exact thing on my 99 for a year. I usually run on 1, but I do 5 occasionally. Solid setup, no issues.

I do have a FASS though.

Thanks folks. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the support.

Been through one LP already, caught it right away though. Have gauged that as well... dips to about 8 lbs under heavy towing.....

Its nice to get some honest feedback instead of the Flamethrower.

Man I love my Dodge!!!!

I ran a HX35 @ 45psi for a year before hearing about drive pressure etc. I had no problems at all..... I am now running 55psi with stock intercooler. Snoking is right..... 27psi is ideal for the HY, but just saying that the intercooler is OK.

Keep one thing in mind. I see you are at Santa Cruz, so close to sea level and take this for what it is worth.

The 27 psi number (or 35 psi for the HX35) is meant for trucks at or close to sea level. All things remaining the same for a given turbo, the higher the boost pressure means the higher the RPM. The shiny little spinny thing will spinning quite a bit faster to make 27 psi of boost at 4000 feet as opposed to sea level.
