Is a Cometic Gasket the same as MLS

Are they the same thing if not which is better, there is a local machine shop that is saying that if a cometic gasket is used with head studs oringing is not nessecary. Just curious. PS the truck in discusion will be running 60lbs+ of boost with a big shot of NOS.

cometic is a very large maker of MLS gaskets. They are a very nice product and a lot of PSD owners have been switching to them to help sealing issues.
