This is my first thread on the TDR so I hope this work's! Anyway's, I owne a '01 QCSB 4x4. I have the TST PM3 programmer, FASS 95gph, no silencer ring, cat or muffler and an ATS stage 4 tran's w/ triple Lok converter! My question is that I drove out to Colorado last june to visit friend's. While I was there I went to ATS In Arvada,Col. to check the place out and have my tran's checked over since I was there. I had them dyno my truck and the result's were not what I expected them to be. I think the #'s were like 318 Hp and around 718 tq. I figure my truck stock has around 230 hp, so the PM3 alone give's around 120,that should equell around 350hp or more with the other slight mod's. I think altitude hurt me pretty bad, but is that normal? Also, what can I do to get around 400HP with the stock turbo. I plan on injector's and a 4 or 5 inch exhaust. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Bye the way I have had my truck for 1 year this month and have already put in a APPS, and a VP44, plus my mod's. Why are these truck's so addicting, I'm broke! Thank's again!

That sounds about right to me we dyno'd my brothers eth(6speed HO) with only a drag comp and got 294hp out of it. so 318 doesn't sound too bad the dyno numbers were probably also corrected. i think probably some 100hp injectors would do just fine but you will probably have to keep an eye on the egt's, get the 4" also do somekind of air intake mod to aid in keeping the egt's down.

Your truck stock should do around 190-200 rwhp, mine does. So it sounds about right to me... . Remember the rated horsepower on these trucks is at the crank, not at the wheels...

Thank's for the replies. I forgot that those numbers were at the flywheel. I forgot to mention that I live in Illinois so that was why I was concerned about altitude robbing horse power. I heard somewhere around 13% drop. Does that sound right? I did notice a tremendous amount of turbo lag compared to Illinois. The smoke was alot more too, which was cool and made up for the lag!! If anyone has any suggestion's on a good injector and intake set up that would get my numbers higher, that would be great. I do drive this truck daily and pull rarely. I did tow my friend's '68 chevelle out to him in Col. with an enclosed trailer and was very happy with the power! Thank's again.

As for your injectors, what kind of money are you willing to spend? are you on a tight budget? if thats the case i would recomend some of diesel dynamic's or the like. For a more spendy budget i would go with the Mach line. JMO
