Where to go in Canada/Montana?

I came home from work today in the 95 deg heat, came in the house and relaxed for a minute. When I got up I swear my truck had went out and hooked up the snowmobile trailer and moved it in front of the shop, when I walked out, the doors were open and the sleds looked like a couple of dogs with thier tails wagging. maybe its the upcoming grass drags?

Or maybe an early fall?

I'm not ready for snow yet. I came close, when our power went out on two different occassions last week. After having the a/c for a couple of years, it's now a drag without it. Funny how you can go through 48 years without something and as soon as you get it, you can't live without.

The snow I like, the bitter cold I don't. Hope we get a mild winter.

POWDER, POWDER, POWDER,

Snow is a beautiful thing. Of course so is the water. wether your boarding on water or snow theres nothing like it

UTAH holds some of my best powder experiences I've ever had. I envy you JMarkos

Snow is OK in the mountains, but I want warm and sunny down here. On a winter saturday, I get up in the morning and decide if I want to snow shoe in the mountains or bicycle around home.

Hotter than he!!

I am definitely ready for some snow! It has been 100+ here for about the last 3 weeks. The humidity in KS is really what makes it bad, you'd think this was the gulf coast!! Bring on the snow!!!

Beyond ready here !!!! I can't wait for those cold and blustery days, reminds me of... . LONGJOHNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a song for this... people play it at christmas time, but it's not aobut christmas, it's about the summer, and how things are in need of some enthusiasm...

Oh, we need a little christmas, right this very minute... .

So far, summer has been pretty decent here, with only a few days hitting the 90's. I hope it stays that way for at least the next 3 weeks. I don't want to go on vacation and totally swelter in the PW...

In July !!?? You've got to be kidding. Our summers are pretty short. Say m-o-t-o-r-b-o-a-t and m-o-t-o-r-c-y-c-l-e.

The first of October when the leaves are ablaze and the nights are nippy, I'm ready. But not now !!

Joe:cool:

With a little luck and help from El Nino, and La Nina, maybe you guys up North can have a longer summer while we'uns down heah in the Sunny South can get into winter a bit sooner! Howz that for a compromise?

I love the snow, and miss it out here in western washington. I don't enjoy driving in it out here due to the crazies... don't try to slow down til its too late, as if the road was bare and dry!

It could be worse, some of the guys around here with 4x2s can't get to work, so it lessens the traffic!

Rob isn't wanting snow too soon. He still has road to fix, culverts to put in and a ton of other work to do...

He even tried to convince people they watned free labor to come down and do it for him... :)

But... No, i'm not ready for snow. No snowshoes on the PW yet.

PW... would I do that?!!

Actually, you are correct that I need to complete a few things prior to the snow... guess I had better get busy... but I have never missed a day of work over it!

Summer sucks! I love the smell of 2 stroke oil

on a cold clear morning with a couple feet of

fresh powder on top of a deep base. Let's ride!:)
