is there any other box or tuner that would be better for my setup then the edge drag comp i am running now?(see mods)i am only able to put down 438/875 with my set up. hearing i should be at 500 hp. is it poss. that the power is low because i am running 36" tires an never regeared the truck? truck came w/ 3. 54 gears. help thanks

Depends on the dyno and what turbo you are running I would say.

On a dynojet I can make around 450HP. But this is with a little PDR35. I don't know how much air you have, but that would be my first guess.

Also, more boost does nt equal more power. In many cases, less boost means more power.

Dino,

How about trying a different turbo? Here is what we can do, lets schedule some dyno time come on up and we can give it a spin using a different turbo. I have a SPS66 and a Steroid B-1 that I have been doing some testing with and we can use whichever isn't bolted to the truck. Give me a call if your interested.

Dino,

Definitely take Doug up on that offer. That will answer your question on whether or not it's a turbo issue. I'm still voting for the hot rod pump as the culprit. Your truck is way fast for just mach 4's when the comp box is off. But when you turn the box on there is barely a noticeable difference in power. Lots more smoke, but hardly any more power. And i know it wasn't a bad box because we plugged mine in that one time and it acted the same way your comp did... lots more smoke, no more power.
