Is Blood on the Road Slippery?

I saw two deer in Kentucy, along I-75, last week on the way to Pigeon Forge. They were looking up the road, checking to see if it was safe to cross.



Then. . I saw several killed deer along the highway, some of them left sheets of blood on the pavement. How slippery is deer blood? Could it cause an accident, if one hit it while changing lanes?

Not as slippery as the anti-freeze/oil mix I left all over Jellico mountain when the head gasket gave in. :{ :{ :{

Blood usually coagulates fairly quickly. At that point it's just more glop on the road. Unless you're right behind the poor sap that hit the deer, I would'nt worry too much.

I'd be more worried about getting the blood splatters off of a rusty trailer.

Well Doc, now there's a question I've never really pondered, but after some thought I figured that if one was to really mash on the binders, yea it's probobly pretty slippery, just driving over it, changin' lanes, I think you'll be allright. Might wanna' stick it in 4-high..... just in case.

Actually blood is quite corrosive. Wash it off in a hurry. As you go by, look at the mangled deer and exclaim: What's that in the road? A head?
