I'm expecting a call from my dealership within the next few days to tell me my ordered '08 3500 cab and chassis has arrived.
Is the fast idle feature already enabled in these trucks from the assembly plant or do I need to ask my favorite salesman to run the truck through the service department and have the fast idle feature enabled before I go get it?
Previous years required a software download to enable the feature or at least a scan tool to turn the program on. I don't think I've read a post from owners of 6. 7 equipped trucks mentioning whether fast idle still requires a dealer enable.
