I did do a search but couldn't confirm so sorry for re-hashing this.

I thought my 03, CA SO had a CAT while HO's did not.

I see on the engine sticker that it plainly states "NO" in the catalyst column.

So is it a resonator and not a cat?

I might add that my factory manual does not show a cat for the CTD.

Does anyone with the 04. 5 that is suppose to have a cat see that their engine sticker is labeled "YES" In the catalyst column?

CAT

Its a good Ole Converter. No resonators on the third gennys.

As for the ENGINE sticker, dodge puts the cats on, not

cummins. ;)

I was thinking it was a CAT but now I am wondering about that engine sticker because when a smog tech does a visual insp he will be looking at that sticker and noting it is non catalyst.

With all the strict rules around here I am amazed it was shipped with a sticker like that. The sticker is specific to a CA SO.

If the factory service manual doesn't show one and the engine sticker doesn't show one, how could they say it's supposed to have one?
