Is it just me?

Since from maybe around 10PM last night, the site has been really sloooooooow at times. Not the whole time, just sparatically. Wasn't sure it was related to the work on the search database ( https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80807 ) .



I think I need to get a newer computer anyways (this one's getting tired, so I wasn't sure whether it was on the TDR end or mine... .

Thanks. That's a relief. I've had a couple of times that if I used a different computer, it was fine. Don't really want to be getting a different computer for a while (this one is about 4yrs. old or so).

I was out of town from friday morning until last night. The reindex stopped sometime friday after I left and so I have to finish it up now. I restarted it last night and let it run overnight and it stopped at 7:00 am this morning. I restarted it this morning and it's running again now. We are almost to the end of the reindex and then this problem will go away. Towards the end of the reindex the server is working extremely hard because of the size of the index file it's dealing with. Sorry for any inconvenience - we should be done with it soon.

Sure its the server load?

It seems there is an awful lot of sites that I can't get to when I can't get the TDR. Maybe backbone perf is being killed by massive amounts of colledge bandwidth being consumed
