What is the greatest invention from the technicial revolution?

Doc, everything down here is Coke.

Typical conversation between the waitress and customer.

Waitress: "Welcome to 'so and so's family diner' can I get you something to drink?"

Customer: "Sure, I'll have a Coke"

Waitress: "What kind?"

Customer: " Dr. Pepper would be fine"

Unless, they ask me, then of course it's a cold Miller Lite. :):):D

I'm with gitchesum on this one.

Down here, it's "coke". This can be a Coke, Dr. Pepper, or just about anything.

Gotta love the South:cool:

I have always called it by what it was, I want a Dr. Pepper! Pop annoys me. It leads to unesscary talking. If I wanted a coke, I would say coke. If I wanted a Pepsi I would say Pepsi. But all I drink is Dr. Pepper and tea and an ocasionally Mr Pipp when the Dr is "out".

For this former Connecticut Yankee it's always been SODA! ;)

Huh. Not too far from there, in NE MA, the stuff is called 'tonic'. How they got that from moving or losing the r's, I'll never know!

In Lima, Peru (where wifey is from), it's gaseosa.

Inca cola, kinda like sweet mt. dew, when waaaaay down south..... Dr. Pepper when home.

Well here in Central Texas I have heard it called a "soda water" more than several times but for me its Coke cause thats what I drink

Soda water. Soda is a white powder that comes in a box. Pop is the sound a soda water makes when you open it. Do I have to teach y'all EVERYTHING? :)

Sody Water

Even Grape NeHi bellywashers are called sody waters in some areas. All ya need with a bellywasher is some saltine crackers and mustard sardines to make it a perfect meal.

Then git some of that popskull whiskey for a chaser. ;)
