Greetings-

Finally got all my ISSPRO guages installed two weeks ago and have been having fun watching all the new data in the cab. What has me worried is my Fuel pressure - at idle in the driveway -10PSI. Cruising to work at 75 - 5-7 PSI. WOT- 3-5 PSI. This all on the original LP - 67,600 miles.

What I am wondering is:

#1 are my fuel pressure readings correct? there was somwone that had a portable kit with a huge amount of hose - can't remember who though.

#2 if they are correct - do I buy a new LP or a Fass 2

#3 if I buy a Fass 2 should I buy a new LP just in case

Thanks for the help - I have been searching a great deal, but by the time I get through all the LP threads I am worried the vP44 may get hurt.

At least you have readings!!! When I put mine in I had 0-0-0... . My idle pressure is ~16, cruse ~12 and WOT@3000RPM is ~6. I'd reccomend going with a FASS or AIR DOG and be done with it. The only reason I'm on my 3rd stock LP is because they were all changed under warrenty. My next one will be an AIR DOG. THe FFASS is an equal system but for no special reason I prefer the AIR DOG. If you go that route don't bother with a spare LP, it would just be a waste of money gone to DC!!!!

I ordered a LP from hoeslidiesel.com for some insurance. I can install this now and get a FASS, Airdog, or some other. This will allow me to have an extra way to get fuel to the engine just in case the FASS or airdog failed - i know that the FASS does not run in series with the LP, but how hard could it be to switch out a couple of hoses and be running again. I say this because I do some fishing and hunting in some areas where it would take $1000 to get a tow truck to, and my wallet is not that thick.

BTW the guy that answered the phone at hoeslidiesel.com was great - good salesman, got me to buy a case of fleetguard fuel filters.
