I put a number 12 tst plate in my 1996 215 horse truck. I can only get 30psi of boost at 2800 rpm. I called tst and Mark said to check fuel pressure, I checked and it puts out 25psi at full load. Afc star wheel is backed all the way off. I get smoke when accelerating before boost builds up, so I think I am getting good fuel to the injector pump. My truck has 130000 miles on it. At 72000 the stock injection pump blew up internally and was replaced at the local Dodge dealership under warranty. I also had them install some uprated injectors at the same time. When I got the truck back and drove it, it felt like it had less power then with the old injector pump, they told me that can't be the case. Mark at TST suggested they may have installed the wrong pump. How would I know if the pump is right? I have the engine numbers and pump numbers if this will help.

PUMP # R4882481

MO68695

Engine # 45277484

REF. # 53040138

One of the numbers on the plate on the side should be 887 or 913 if they put the right one back on it. The plate on the back of the governor housing should say ... 1400 on it somewhere. The other pumps have a ... 1250 on them. I know the number for the newer 180 hp pumps is 911, but that is the only other one I know.
