Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Is my pump about to die?

Truck set some codes over the weekend; P0251 and P1693. Scan Tool says P0251 ". . The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for injection pump fuel metering control. " For the P1693, the tool says, "... Turbo charge control circuit malfunction. "



As you can see from my sig, the truck is heavily bombed. I hard-soldered all the powermax connections long ago. The P0251 scares me... .



Any experiences out there?

have you checked the fuel pressure yet?? didnt se any guages in your sig.

Yes, I have a pressure guage (signature has a size limit, can't get it all in). Pressure is good > 9psi full throttle, 15 psi at idle.
