Is my truck running cold?

Well it was 30 here this Am. I drive 26 miles to work (1 way), my truck took probably 20 miles before it got up to operating temp. Is this right? I have only 10,700 miles on it.

Sounds normal to me. Mine takes 10 miles to warm up if I've used the block heater. 15 or more if I don't.

Humm, I drive a truck (Freightliner M2 w/ MBE4000), and it warms up quick.

Normal. Mine is right about what R. Bat states. Last winter at 5deg F. mine would not get to full temp no matter how long I drove it (no load and no radiator cover).



As a side note I did start my truck (once) at -13 deg F, no block heater. Sounded like a molested piglet for about 5sec, then smoothed out and idled fine.
