Is Smarty For Me ?

Ive just spent an hour reading all the Smarty posts My question is- Is any one running it on a SO auto truck alone? No other mods I mean I,m trying to decide what to do with my 03. 5 auto quad cab for towing and play I,m not looking to be first on race/dyno day just trying to make run like my 12valve did (300hp by makeing pump adjustments) and get close to the same fuel milage it got Thanks for your help

JDerbedrossian is running a smarty on his SO Auto and is as stock as you are going to get. He has a few intake and exhaust mods.

My buddys 03 so smarty only 3500 4x4 on 35" tires Ran a very low15 sec run at Califonia speedway last sunday. It was a . 75 sec quicker than a competitors 100hp box run previously. It also beat out a 325hp similiar truck running a Juice w/attitude.

I can speak for the smarty. This is the only downloader that will give you that 12 Valve torque at low end and awesome throttle response. A friend of mine used to tell me that my 3rd gen did not have the low end torque like his 98 model 24 valve has. Well after smarty 30 hp download I took him for a ride and he changed his mind about my 3rd gen !!
