Is the gasket reusable?

If I separate the turbo and the exhaust manifold, is the gasket reusable or do I need a new one?

Get a new one, It's cheap. 3901356 for two holes; 3709861 for one hole.

Can you get the gasket from Cummins? Or is it easier to just go to the dealer?

Do the newer gaskets have the stamped small raised ribs to help it seal better?



If they do, you might be asking yourself "Does the raised part go to-wards the exhaust manifold or the turbo?"



I have always put the raised side to-wards the exhaust manifold, but I'm not really sure.
