is the np 247 the biggest piece of crap ever installed in a vehicle or is it just me

i normally just work on euro cars but also get roped into working on friends and family stuff too, the managers dad bought a 99 or so grand cherokee a while back and it munched a transfer case while on a long road trip, he bought another one just like it and towed the dead one back to fix and sell, i installed 2 used cases before one actually worked, fast forward a couple years now the new truck puked a case at 67k miles (this is a old man, the thing never tows and has probably never been in low range) well i install one case, bad, another one this time "low miles" and it's crap too, atleast this one had 4wd on the test drive till it started making noises and puking fluid, now i am waiting for #3 jeep quadratrash sucks

Not familiar with the 247's... I've done a couple of 205's on old Blazers... they were hefty... (and HEAVY!!)
