Is the Quick Check worth it?

I'm thinking of buying the Cummins Quick Check II for our trucks and was wondering what everyones thoughts are on this. I intend to do the vast majority of work on my truck myself so I feel this could be a very usefull tool and give me me enough justification to buy the Palm Pilot I always wanted! Has anyone gotten a cheaper price on the QC at a local Cummins shop rather than the Power Store? All thoughts are greatly appreciated

My truck won't display error codes, so I got a QC to find out what was setting my intermittent error code. It worked great for that, replaced the MAP sensor and no more error codes so far. I bought mine from the Cummins Powerstore and got my Palm from Ebay.

Looked at these for awhile and decided that when I get one, it will probably be the OBD II Scan Tool. It has the capability to reset error codes. They have a site at:

Just waiting for them to get a universal one that works on CTD and other vehicles. Last time I talke to them, their CTD unit wasn't garanteed to work with other vehicles, but they were working on it... .
