Is the search feature working?

whenever I try and do a search. i ger the admistrator has specified only one search every 30 seconds or something like that.



Is search working?

Search

Search appears to be working properly on our end. This could, however, be an isolated problem.



Id this the first search you've tried to do at this time? Note: we do have a 30-second restriction to keep a hacker from crashing the site by flooding it with search requests.



However, when the server was moved, the date was accidentally set to October 2, 2002. This did create a problem with PM where people who posted PMs during that time period could no longer send them. That problem has now been fixed.



It is possible that we could have this problem with searches.

Ever since Sunday may 5th I lost my PM's and I cant do any searches



I just tried to do a search under products for geno's garage

and I got the same 30 second penalty box.



I try to help members by using the search function.

Problem

Bob, sounds like a similar error to the problem with PM. It may take us until tomorrow to get it fixed, but we'll get it done. We'll e-mail you as soon as it looks like we've got it repaired.



By the way, is your PM working properly now?
