Here I am

is there a bigger wastegated HX35 turbine housing than a 14cm?

ATS Exhaust Manifold - Alignment Jig...

nope, not gonna work... my twin setup is build around a wastegated HX35 turbine housing. I've got a 14cm, but I was planning on selling that and running a 16...

I guess I could machine the 14 out to match my HX40 turbine wheel, but that's gonna COST me money, going to a 16 or 18 would put money in my pocket by selling the 14! :(

why did I think there was a wastegated HX35 housing? I do not know!

I've got an external wastegate, but the intermediate pipe feeding the HT3B is welded to a 1/2" steel plate bolted to the back of the HX35 turbine housing. The idea was to not have to worry about additional bracing for the HT3B... I used 1/2" flanges and . 250" wall pipe for the intermediate pipe.

Forrest.

I looked for a 16 when I did mine. I talked to hdm48(dave miller) and decided to have him port my 14. It came out real nice and will probably flow similar to a 16. I had him do the ats and the Bht3b also.

I don't see how a 14 could be ported to flow like a 16 unless it was extrude honed through the entire scroll portion.

I guess I'm gonna try it w/ the 14, and if I don't like it I'll either have it machined for the HX40 turbine wheel or I'll just build another twin setup with an HX40! :p
