Competition Is there a HP loss from a single disk clutch to a DD?

Just wondering if anyone has ever shown a hp loss when going to a Double Disk clutch from a single disk?

I've never heard of that. Just about every person that goes from a single to a dual is because the single no longer holds all of the HP & TQ.

The only way you would lose hp is from a heavier rotating mass which would be negligible at best.

My guess is yes you would loose some hP do to the heavier rotating mass of the DD... . But on the other hand you will probably see a slight increase in torque. The numbers we are talking here are going to be low in the 5 HP range would be my guess.....
