Is there a reason to reflash ECM?

I've seen other postings about reflashing the ECM sometimes resulting in better fuel economy. I get around 15. 5 to 17. Is there a reason to request the ECM be reflashed in an attempt for better mileage?

all you have to do is

check and see if there is a TSB for your (year) truck



TSB = technical service bulletin.



check and see at www.dodgeram.org and decide if its worth while to have the reflash done
