Having been out in the blowing desert for 3 months and of course came down with bronchitis:eek:, I know that being inside the RV with the a/c on sure helps. Is there any kind of a/c filter in the truck? I know that the air coming through the vents has to have some dust in it even though I've cleaned them out as best as I could. Diana

I haven't tried it yet, but Geno's garage sells them. They install under the front windshield. Also they keep the crud out of the condenser.

I've gone thru two sets of the ones from Genos. It's a good idea, but they break way too easily. The little plastic clips that hold the filter to the cowl are not strong enough.

I believe if you will run the AC on the Max setting you will be recirclating the air inside the truck instead of pulling air in through the cowl vent. Of course some air still has to come in somewhere, through the vents in the rear of the cab mostly I believe but at least the dust, etc will have a better chance to settle out before being propelled into your face. bg

Thanks so much for all the replies. Will let you know how we make out when I can stop coughing long enough to decide what to do. Diana
