What is the MSRP even if you don't pay that? I think you should try $35,900 but it depends on what the MSRP is and there is also a Dodge Business discount, but you must have a business lic. to get it, I think its $500.

Invoice for the truck with the options I listed was 36,825.

I counter-offered $37,000 and got my price.

I'm fine with that. They are a good dealership (Foss Motors in Exeter NH).

Now I just got to wait 2 1/2 to 3 months for the thing to be built.

Well congradulations on your new truck, and would like some posts with pics when you get a chance. that seems to be a fair price, you ought to see if you can sneak in the Business discount when you pick it up. The longest wait of my life was waiting for my 3500 C&C to be delivered and also to travel to Kansas to pick up the B&W Elite series bed. :)

Good luck

The BusinessLink Discount would be good. My sales rep Dennie Foss told me that it would be $900 towards an upfitter body and free car rentals if needed when service is done (payed for by Chrysler), but Foss Motors does that anyway.

But for me to signup for the BusinessLink plan I have to provide an EIN and declare myself a business (which I am not, I just do stuff underway ethay abletay orfay ashcay) if you know what I mean. BusinessLink would cause me a lot of greif with the you-know-who. ;)

Next I getting bids on an 11' Galion U100 dump with 1/2 cab protector and scissor hoist ... that I will stroke a check for out right.

LET THE BUYER'S REMORSE SET IN!

My 5500 had a engine heater & exhaust brake at no extra cost, MSRP was close to 47K and we ordered it for a little over 39K. 2WD, longest chassis available, nav, u-connect, upgraded audio system, and a few other options...

We have added a bed, 80 gal aux fuel tank, dual 10 micron, 2 micron filters, steps and a few other options to make it suitable for our needs...

We will later sell a F550 with 500K miles on it... . so you get as idea of the mileage we expect from this truck...
