Is this a good alarm?

Or can someone offer info on a not so pricey one? I just need a simple alarm with either a cool down mode or one where I can hit a button and take the key out and leave it running to cool down.

A thief can bypass them. Do your research. You have to contemplate wether you want security or do you want niceties.



1. remote start or plug it in overnight and still have heat

2. alarms (noise makers) can be bypassed and very easily and not legal in some cities.

3. find a security system that will disable your vehicle systems and not allow them to hot wire it.

4. ravelco is the only one with a proven track record.

5. take precations when you park your rig, park under street lights, turn your steering wheel all the way to one side so if they tow it, it attracks attention when it is going down the road sideways.



Just do your homework before you go out and buy something like that especially an alarm on ebay. who are you going to go to when you have problems with it or it is missing pieces and parts and you can't find replacement parts. Just my . 02 cents
