Is this a good deal for a propane kit?

propane

I was told that you don't want to run propane on a HO because of the compression ratio being so high causing blown headgaskets. (at least that was what I was told with my '01 HO. I think it still applies to the 3rd. Gens also)

I have an ATS torque pro 2000 propane system in my truck. It's a really good system which costs a bit more than that one. S ounds like they're trying maybee to sound the same I don't know. The regulator at the tank sounds a little odd also. Under the hood it is much more stable and not prone to movement. I would do some more research on it before making any moves.

hey kid what are you smoking? Propane is for fords!! If you want to go drugs, get nitrous!!! Or if you really want to get serious, get a 12v!

What he said!!!! (minus the 12v quote, but I'll forgive him for that mistake) ;)

Either do it all with diesel, or put Nitrous on. Furd boys always touting their propane system and they're "huge HP of 400". Uh hu... . #ad

I do more with 6, in one line, running straight oil, than most of them do with 8, going different directions, with funny gasses being mixed in.

Why did you buy a Cummins if you're going to put propane on?

After the Dyno day in Fort Collins on Saturday, it's pretty clear we can even beat the Ferds injecting water. That's right WATER!:p Now I just gotta save up for it.

Naw, The big frod dog there with who knows how many thousands of dollars invested, honing, ringing, computer modifing, drugging, basically throwing every possible thing at it made it to 505/1000. (more than me, but not when it comes to $ per horse factored in)

It's not that we care that they use drugs, it's that we don't have to and can make more power w/o the use of that crap! That stuff, running 450 RWHP using propane or nitrous even, is harder on your engine and components than 550 RWHP on straight diesel.

That Ford running water did pretty good, IMO. That's my friends truck. With the Edge on its highest setting, and water, it put down 496 HP. There's only $1300 invested in mods. All that truck has is the Edge Juice/Attitude, Water/Meth, and a missing muffler.

NOW, I know the thing will probably have a windowed block and bad injectors pretty soon:p, but I think it's cool to get nearly 500 horse for 1300 bucks. I had to spend a heck of a lot more than that to get my 12v to 526 HP.

Are we talking about the same truck at the dyno. The ford that smoked worse than a 12v and sounded like someone put rocks in the motor after the run on the dyno?
