Is this a good deal on an '04?

Ok, I'm looking at an '04, 3500 4x4 SLT dually with the following:



Premium cloth

Trailer Tow

Fold flat load floor storage

6-sp

Anti-spin 3. 73

CTD 600 (of course)

Power Folding Trailer-Tow mirrors

Power adjustable pedals



Does NOT have light grp, protection grp, or security grp. I think I'm ok with the configuration.



MSRP is $41,610



I think I can get it for $33,600 or a little less. That's after all rebates, haggling, etc.



I'm thinking that is not a bad deal at all.



What say you "professionals"?

Not bad, but if I were you I would shoot for 10k off the MSRP. Trust me, it can be done.

My 04. 5 2500 4x4 CTD600 6 spd with 3. 73's was stickered at 46k, and I walked out the door for 33. 5k. . I would shoot for 31k if I were you.

That was actually off of the dealer pack tack on... the actually sticker says 43k and the dealer tacked on another 3k. . so all told, I paid 13k less than they were asking.

Ehh. . It helps that Im friends with the fleet dept. manager of my local dodge dealer. Ive also since referred 3 other guys to that dodge dealer that are looking for CTD's, so they will make some money off of them.

I thought it was just fine. . considering the truck. . I love it, and truth be told, I think its worth the sticker price... I love the way it drives, and rides. . pretty decent for a 3/4 ton 4x4 truck

I'll second Tomeygun as a price guide. And it's not an 04, with the 600 engine, it's a 04. 5 Small difference but the two models had a price difference from DC, so that has to factor in. I would say you could strong arm them closer to an even 30k with the 05s due to start arriving.
