Not a great picture, but i am 99% sure you are looking at nothing more then a $3. 99 grease gun hose. If it is in fact just that, the guy is a slimebag. What would that hose do that a grease gun hose would'nt?

I just noticed, there is a TDR member named RCPILOTRV, the same name as the guy on Ebay selling the hose. If it is the same guy (And i would be amazed if it was'nt, its not exactly an everyday name) why would he be selling overpriced grease gun hoses and saying they are "Custom Made" for the Cummins Ram?

Maybe he is "custom" making them and doesn't know they can be had for $3 at home depot. I doubt he'd say they were custom made for the Dodge if he was just buying and reselling them. I have no trouble with someone buying something and selling them to the general public with a markup if he's going to stock them, ship them, etc. If this is the case of course he shouldn't say "custom made" for dodge trucks.

Hey everybody it is me, please lighten up. A friend of mine who is a diesel mechanic did custom make this hose. It is actually a (3500 PSI) hydraulic hose(overkill) with two 1/8 male fittings pressed on and a female adapter. We decided to make them and try to sell them. If you can buy one at Home Depot for 3. 99 and it works, I apologize. But does it come with the three fittings? I know any body can make them, it took us about 2 hours running around town for the hose and fittings,and about 15 min to press them on. Even at minimum wage and just parts, exceeds the starting bid of 15. 00. . Our goal was to maybe run a home based Internet business selling these and other accessories(gauges,Pillars) Again, I apologize if i did something wrong. RC

Thanks guys, I went to Home Depot to look at the grease gun hose. It was for sell for 3. 26 here in Las Vegas(12"). I can tell you this the HOSE AND FITTINGS that we are trying to sell are better Quality. Plus its twice as long and is commercial grade. Also you don't get the female adapter either with the one at home depot. Also the grease gun hose says"for grease gun use only". I had a shop make me some 8' hoses so I could check my transmission line pressures while I was driving. I only needed some low pressure lines but wound up w/ bona fide hydraulic pressure lines w/ a 3,000 psi rating ( way more than my trans will ever produce). Good hose is not cheap.

For someone who is uninformed etc... . it might be a great bargain, but if a person is "informed" and can do it on their own elsewhere... ... more power to them.
