Competition Looser or Tighter Torque Converter for track?? 3rd gen.

Competition Ran off to VEGAS to get....

I want to be sure before I spend that money on the Water/Meth that it is worth it. What is the best kit? I was looking at the Stage 2 Kit w/Hobbs. It looks like that would be the best kit for my application, because of the stage 4 EDM's that are going in the truck. Has anyone used it and not liked it? Thanks in advance.

I gain 40 hp on winter washer fluid. I have the first stage set at 25 psi and the 2nd at 35 psi. No maintenance.



pmaloney; How do you like your HTB2? What size exhaust housing are you running? I'm looking for a larger turbo. PM me with info. if you dont mind.

Ahh, I see just wondering. I like tinkering with things, still trying to find the ideal pressures. Anybody have any comments on tuning the water/meth systems. Like pump pressure screw or boost pressures? Not trying to hijack thread just wanting to cover all bases :rolleyes:

When the kit stuck on I gave Matt a call and let him know.



I think I was one of the first to get his new digital controller.



Not trying to tell you not to get the kit or anything, just be aware that things like this can happen.



Matt was simply awesome helping me get everything straightened out. The even paid for my oil change after the mishap. He is a first class guy that will bend over backwards to help his customers.

That is why I wired mine through a relay to a keyed source so that when the key is off no power can go to the pump motor and empty my 15 gallon tank into the engine.
