I realize that the recommended Valve Body depends on each person's horse power, elevation, gear ratio, location (city/rural), etc.

I'm still curious to know how many of us have which set up.

I'll be ordering one soon and thought it would be nice to do a quick "popularity" pole to see what might be the most common series by popular demand.

For those of you who have a DTT Valve Body, which one do you have 89,91, or 93.

AND

Are you happy with it? Would you get a different % VB if you had the chance to do it all over again?

Thanks

I just changed from a 91 to an 89. I sold my 5th wheel and won't be doing any heavy towing. I got my trannie upgraded to the 5 clutch pack, etc, prior to adding more power. Bill K suggested swapping to the 89 TC. Both TCs are awesome but the 89 lets the turbo spool up quicker. I am amazed at how quick, it literally jumps from 10lbs to 38lbs in an eyeblink. The 91 wasn't slow, we're talking fractions of a second, but the 89 is definatly quicker.

Follow Bill K's advice, you can't go wrong with either TC.

Tom,

Reading you comments I am curious about towing heavy with an 89%. Do you think if you were towing heavy you would have stayed with a 91%? Or would the 89% work as well? Is there a benifit to the trade off of quicker spoolup versus the ability to tow heavy? Or is there a trade off? Make sense?

I think the 89 would be fine for towing , although I haven't done it, it seems to me that it would be better that the 91 when I was grossing 19k. Bill K might have a different opinion.
