What are engines selling for?

Update on 6BT powered IH scout: 5K+ mi.

Last week a friend of mine that owns an Auto Shop here in Columbus Indiana contacted me about a low power syndrome with an ISB, after many people looking at the engine the problem was figured out and fixed (fuel pressure).

Garvin Gardner the owner of the shop contacts me about air filter choices for the FORD F350 2wd Crew cab this Cummins ISB was going into, I took him a BHAF, and it was used nicely!

Anyhow, Garvin and Aaron Gardner did an impressive job on repowering this Ford F350 with a Cummins ISB! (235),

Intercooler, Custom mounts, transmission adapter, Custom air plumbing, and 5 speed manual transmission.

The great part was I got to drive it!

It was a funny feeling getting into a Ford Dually with a Cummins 5. 9 under the hood! THE REAL POWERSTROKE!

They are interested in doing more repowers like this and if anyone would like pictures of the work, I took a couple digitals.

Complete professional repower!

A buddy of mine just e-mailed about converting his 90 F350 crew cab to diesel. He was thinking of the powerstroke and I said put a Cummins in it. I told him I would check the TDR for people who have done the conversion and this topic was right on top. Isn't the TDR great! Anyway I would like to see the pics and would love to hear from anyone that has done the conversion. You can e-mail me at -- email address removed --

Thanks, Rod
