Gents,
I'm proud to finally say that I have installed my Stinger-Plus kit. It's been sitting in my garage collecting dust for 2 weeks while I was busy getting married and honeymooning. To be honest, it is not entirely installed. I got working on it this afternoon and have everything but the exhaust -- hopefully that will be tomorrow, time permitting. Everything went in very nicely, but fo r A-pillar gauge mount (junk). I went for a drive and WHOA!!! The ruck is a completely different beast. It idles at the same RPM but sounds very different. It pulls great from idle to 1600-1700 then hold on and be ready to grab another gear quick!
I drove it around town and a little on the freeway. I can definately keep the little geeks in their rice-burner Honda's with stolen truck tail-pipes in check! I am looking forward to finding some PSD's, but will have to be careful how I break it to my dad as he is an unfortunate PSD owner too.
I expect to get better freeway mileage becuase at 75 MPH I just barely have the throttle cracked. The only thing I don't like is it seems to run out of breath around 2500 RPM. Hopefully, this will go away when I put the exhaust on.
Happy Rammin'!
