I have the 5500 series Isspro tach (4k) and the pickup kit (magnets + pickup).

Tach works fine at idle... and to about 1800 rpm. BUT when slowly going over 1800... the tach needle goes up to 3200 to 3500 rpm.

I "believe"{ that my gap is set correctly (1/8 to 1/4").

I swear that I found a thread one time where a person had the same trouble. (can't find it here... I have searched)

Figured I would ask the TDR what they thought before I called Isspro in the am.

Thanks

Jim
