I posted a while back about the development of an electric FP gauge for the ISSPRO EV series. The gauge would be ideal for those of us not wild about running a mechanical gauge and having diesel in the cab. (NO FP gauge choice wars here, just personal choice ;) ).

That being said... ... Sadly, I just received an email from Kelly Brouner, the aftermarket sales manager. It seems that Isspro doesn't seem to think the need or importance of developing the gauge. Kelly is on our side, she has been pushing for this for months, but as of this time, the gauge is still in pending. At this point it isn't dead, but it is nowhere near available yet. I would suggest that anyone who is wanting to see this gauge, send an email to

Isspro and let them know- they dont' seem to think there is any demand for it.

Maybe we're screaming at deaf ears, but you know what they say about the squeaking wheel.

Keep on Trying

Doug and I have been pushing Isspro for this gauge since the introduction of the EV series gauges. And like you said, Kelly is definitely on our side and is trying her best to get this gauge made but it doesn't look good.

It's at the point now that when Kelly knows it is me on the phone, she doesn't even say Hello, she immediately says, "I'm sory Andy, I am still trying for your gauge. " :)

I guess at this point all we can do is keep stressing the importance of this gauge and hope for the best.

I really don't think we are screaming at deaf ears, they just need to justify the tooling and R&D costs of such a gauge before they put forth the effort.

Let me talk with Kelly and see if there is anything else we can do, such as an internet poll or something to show her Higher-Ups the importance of this gauge.

I was reeeeally interested in this gauge, but.....

I'm tired of waiting, and... .

I have since decided that I would prefer monitoring the inlet and outlet pressures at the filter, and Westach has sent me the part numbers for a 2" dual 0-30 psi gauge and senders.

FYI, they are:

Gauge - 2DC3-209 dual 0-30 psi

Sender - 387-30V2-C (two required)

Light kit - P/N 186

Not everything is on the Westach website.

Apologies for raining on your parade!

Tom
