The Autometers are gone and thankfully, gone for good. I couldn't stand to hear the turbo whistling dixie while the boost gauge was sitting at zero. I put in two 60psi boost gauges, one for boost, one for engine brake pressure (pulsation dampener must be used). Also installed in the triple pillar pod was the color version of the pyrometer. It has a signal amplifier which acts similar to the Autometer competition probe. While I was at it, I took the time to straighten out some of the wiring I did back when I was wiring for the first time. Really neatened things up in there. I used the green diffusers, but they weren't the right color, so I picked up a light blue permanent marking pen from an art supply and carefully applied it to the cover. Now the color's just about right. Really matches the OEM dash too. And now when the turbo's singing, it's singing at 7psi, versus the zero. Just peace of mind.

Chris, how does the egt. sender perform compared to the Autometer ? I remember seeing your Autometer in action and was immpressed with it's reaction speed to a blip of the throttle.

What's the scoop on the back pressure gauge for the BD brake ? What kind of psi's do ya see when the brake is on, curious.

We got to get together soon, I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of Hadley Ambassadors. I'm getting tired of passing my co-workers on traffic details, having them give me the universal ' blow your air horn' signal when all I can do is engulf them and their immediate surroundings in a thick cloud of toxic black smoke. Think Mike will let us borrow the shop on a Sat. , it's getting cold, at least up in this parts ;) .

Looking at getting these

I don't tow right now, but thinking of getting the Isspro EV's before I get an EZ. Where are y'all buying these? And, since I don't tow, which 2 gauges should I go with? THanks!

We're a dealer, so I only had to walk to the shelf to get them. Towing or not, the best two and first two you should always have are a Boost Gauge and Pyrometer.

Had mine installed for almost a week. Like the lighting and responsiveness. I used the green covers and they look GOOD! Could use a tad of blue. The night lighting is awesome! No dark spots or spurious illumination. All are solidly lit across the dial.

Dixie, I don't tow (yet) but installed the Trans Temp anyway. It's not that much more to install. I also got the 94/95 pump output line (from DTT) to install the sender in. That's the best place to put it as it pumps right off the TC to the intercooler, and you get the most accurate indication of how hard the transmission is working.

You won't go wrong wit the EVs IMHO! BF

Almost a perfect match to the factory ones, except...

They don't come with a red needle. :(

Talked to EV about it and they said they're thinking about it. Everybody ought to give them a call and ask about it. Maybe it'll move'm along a little faster.
