Broke my DD JAMMER 40

problem with prime-loc

has anyone used isspro r6704 fuel pressure gauge? its a enhanced view (white face ,blue pointer, chrome bezel) mechanical 0-30 fuel pressure gauge.

what do you think of this gauge? and did you use an isolator?

Robert, I don't have the r6704, but rather the all black one with the white pointer. From what I understand, it's the same guts as the r6704. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I did use a grease gun hose and a ball valve as a snubber.

Nice gauge with accurate readings.

I sent Isspro an e-mail at the same time I posted this. I was going to go with a mechanical gauge but I think I wait for the electrical version.

do you make (or have plans to make) an electrical version of your R6704 gauge. I am looking for a full sweep electrical fuel pressure gauge for a diesel truck. I have you're your ev series boost, transmission, and pyro gauges now & would like them to match. I would hate to have to go to different brand.

We do have one in design but it is a few months away from being ready for sale. The main problem was finding a sender that would maintain that pressure. We have that now and are designing a gauge to match.

You wil have a lot less problems with a mechanical gauge.

Been running a Isspro EV Series gauge 2 yrs no problems. Oo.

Are you running the fuel to the gauge or are you using an isolator?

I have seen lots of posts on isolators leaking and mechanical gauges with trapped air giving false readings.

I had autometers electronic fp gauge on my 98. 5 truck and after 2 years it worked fine, but it only goes to 15 psi and it was over 200 bucks.

Been running an isspro mechanical 0-30 EV for almost a year, its been flawless (better not say that too loud). .

Running about 2 ft of steel braided hose from the Genos tapped banjo at the VP44 to the isolator, and its antifreeze from there to the gauge.

With the fass, pressure has been very stable and no pulsing or noise transferred into the cab like some have complained about.

So far, very satisfied w/ this setup, and there is no diesel in the cab. I like that the most.

Got the gauge kit from Mcummings, he was a great help.

I have had my Isspro EV marine FP gauge in since April... absolutely no problems thus far. Fuel line is fed off a tee between the LP and VP-44 to a needle valve then the isolator. Anti freeze from the isolator into the gauge mounted on my steering wheel pod.

With the FASS I see a constant 14-15 PSI and cannot get it below 12 towing wide open up a grade.

The needle valve eliminated the injection pump surge transfering through the gauge.

Very happy with the Isspro gauges

Been running an Isspro mechanical sitting in the middle of my dash (gauge on the right), running diesel to the gauge (no isolator) for three years.

Not a drip & no sending units to go bad.
