Hey guys getting ready for mech. guage install, got from vulcan, didnt come with syringe like it said, anybody know where to mount isolator, didnt have pictures.

Thanks

i bolted mine to the firewall to a piece of metal that was sticking out and handy by the left hood hinge, it gets fuel into one side and you fill the other side with antifreeze, on the gauge side blow into the isolator to set the diaphragm before you fill with antifreeze and hook it to the gauge

I pushed the antifreeze side down with a pencil eraser, installed the fittings and left the plastic tube real long, fill the top of the isolator and get all the way full, no bubbles, put the plastic tube in a cup of antifreeze and suck, stop a few inches from getting any in your mouth, hold your finger over the end and put the cup end into the isolator and seal it up.
The tube can then be put wherever and the antifreeze will stay put, cut off what you don't need and hook to the gauge.

I also bolted mine to the firewall on the left side. Got a pack of 3 different sized syringes at Autozone or some other auto parts place for a couple of bucks... worked like a charm.

Good luck!

Scott-
