Isspro Gauge Installation 2

I wanted to document my Isspro gauge installation - Pyrometer, Boost, and Transmission Temp - and fill in some of the "holes" that I found when I searched the forum prior to beginning the work.

I ordered a Diesel Manor kit with everything and was very satisfied with the quality and completeness of their product.

The kit contents, right out of the box

The only things I purchased separatly were wire loom, heat shrink tubing of various sizes, long wire ties and Posilock wire connectors.

Pull the weatherstrip right off... there is no adhesive holding it on, just friction.

#ad

I let it hang out of the way while I worked.

Here is how the tabs on your pillar unlock.

#ad

A 10mm gets the pillar removed.

The metal dash frame is RAZOR sharp. It gave me a nice finger slice and it will strip the insulation right off of your wiring.

#ad

Wires run from under the dash and ready for hook-up to gauges.

#ad

Gauges pre-installed and fit checked in new pillar. This can be done the night before.

#ad

Front view of pre-installed gauges. The trans temp needed about 1. 5 wraps of electrical tape for a nice friction fit.

Time for the under the hood work. I bought some high power magnets and place three around my drilling spot on the manifold. They worked quite well pulling the chips away from the hole. No grease, no running engine.
