HP in a ford PS??

psd fuel filter changes

Friend of mine has a engine from an Isuzu NPR 6 wheeler.

For some strange reason I wanna put it in my 74 Bronco.

Any one know anything about this engine. ?

ANy power mods?

Like what transmission would be easiest to use, ?

SHould I look at mating it to a ford transmission like the Zf and some ford transfer case or use the isuzu transmission and try to mate it to a t-case?

I've owned half a dozen NPR's and FSR's over the years. NPR's are 4 cylinder heavy duty sleeved engines. Taken care of they will last a long time. I've had several go 300K miles. They tend to burn pistons about every 100K. Costs about 1200 to fix. Parts are relatively cheap and you can get them at your GM dealer. There is now a 175HP version that would be nice in a 1/2 ton. All of mine were the 140HP versions. It would be a lot of work to put one in a pickup.

WHat probs would you see, installing it in a truck. size seems about right.

Biggest prob I can think of is mateing it to a transmission/t-cast.

If I really had to do it, I'd leave the Isuzu transmission ( either 5-speed or auto ) on the engine and get one of the old divorced-style transfer cases. While you're at it leave on the stock exhaust brake that comes on all NPR's.
