VW TDI Questions

Any ideas on getting the hydraulic line to the clutch slave cylinder loose so I can complete the clutch R & R?

Thanks

Got it done.

98 Pickup, 6cyl.

There's a plastic sleeve on the coupler that I pushed in and "walked" it around while pushing on the line to release the fingers on the dry break coupler.

Just had to stand back and cogitate over it for a while.

Lot's of clutch replacement sets come with the tool to do this with. Without your M/M/Y/Eng I wasn't sure what you were working on.

Let us know if you have any problems getting it bled and releasing, I have a few tips to save time on this one.

Thanks, Gary.
Fortunately I had no issues after separating the line. Other than stabbing the trans to the new clutch. 6 hours this was even using the plastic aligner tool sent w/kit.
I will keep our info for future use if that's OK.
