I worked as a mechanic for Isuzu back in '86-'89. I loved the Isuzu diesel stuff. I had a P'up that I drove to over 300k miles. It was still running great when it rusted to pieces. I'd love to find a clean one. The Turbo Troopers were less reliable. They seemed to break the #3 connecting rod at 60K mile intervals. They'd come in running with big holes in the block, spraying oil all over the place. I'd still buy one if I had the chance, but I don't think I'd make it endure too many high speed runs. I'd keep it for short commutes.
