The little clip keeper on the overhead console eye glass case. Now the little trap door is flopping around up there. Betcha have to buy the whole overhead to get the little door

I apologize! I was wrong! I have maligned DC! The little door IS available and will be here in the morning. My cost is $15. 37. So you see, I was wrong, you don't have to buy the whole roof console just to get the little door... ... ... ...

I was in a similar situation with the brake pedal pad on my wife's Durango. Even the service writer guy thought you would have to buy the whole brake pedal. Walking to the parks counter I knew I was fixin to get ticked off. Fortunately, they could get the pad onlly and it cost around $5. 00.

My little door isn't latching too good lately. I'll bet I'll be buying a new one soon too. Maybe I'll BOMB it by installing a spring to keep it closed.

On the topic of hinges, anyone broke their center console hinges yet? Last weekend, I guess the part of the hinge the keeps the lid up when it's open finally took a holiday.





Hmmmmmm... maybe a little pneumatic piston would work. Throw a switch and the lid opens.
