It felt like it missed a shift? (automatic)

I was taking off from a green light with my foot in it when around 2nd or 3rd gear, it just reved. I quickly let my foot off the throttle and all was back to normal . Is my torque converter letting go? Thanks in advance. Ben.

Probably not, but, might want to check front band adjustment and see if there is any left.
