W=wrong

HAHAHAHA, another moron blaming Bush. ah the wonderful ignorant person. Pull it out of your butt, who ya think is going to fix it? Hiliary? :-laf she'll take our Diesels away from us and make us drive hydrogen powered cars... .

Under Hitlery we'll get a failed socialist medical system, even tighter environmental regs (think higher prices for fuel and ridiculous new technologies in the name of a clean environment), and a myriad of other failed policies. She, like Bill and Algore if he'd gotten elected is a part of the left wing that seems to favor eliteism. Guns in the hands of citizens? No way, but guns in the hands of private security gets a huge thumbs up. Much like Rosie, et. al. guns don't belong in the hands of the public, and the only thing wrong with this nation is the need for more bicycle paths.

I hope everyone can wake up and realize that before doing something rash such as voting for a socialist (if not self proclaimed, then at least deserving of the title anyhow).

Some of this is getting out of hand. I'm perfectly in favor of alternative energy sources, but hydrogen isn't economical in the quantities they need (takes quite a bit of energy being made from coal, nuclear, etc to produce), plus look around the gas pumps, would you want those same people handling a substance 100x easier to ignite? I sure wouldn't. There are perfectly natural solutions but nobody seems to want to try and go down that path. I would be willing to believe the environmental lobby is nearly as strong as the oil lobby in terms of control of their candidates, and if the majority of the Government swings towards environmental wackos again, we may well be in a bigger pickle than we are now...

Other thoughts I have at the moment include the fact that stations cranking up the prices needlessly is gouging and should be prosecuted for such. If they are having legitimate supply issues and not just speculation, I have no problem with them doing it what so ever. I hope states go after these places that are actually gouging. Keep your receipts ladies and gentlemen, because if the state does go after these places, if you can prove you paid an excessive amount, there's always the possibility you may get reimbursed some amount.

Sticks and Stones, Alpocowboy, Sticks and Stones...

In reply to your to your inquirey about "who ya think is going to fix it?" we sure as hell it ain't going to be Dubya dont we. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Oh, and you think Hiliary would make the trucking industry switch to hydrogen in their semis? :{

Me thinks, perhaps, it is you Alpocowflop that is suffering from anal-cranial tuck. :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

Judging from the polls, a more and more Americans are becoming "morons".

Your response is so typical, if you cant debate the logic of the issue resort to a 5 yr old mentality and try and insult the other person.

Sad but true, you need to grow into adult behavior.

So your a Hillery Klinton fan? Then you must be a Bill Of Rights hater.

What are you doing in Texas ... you should live in California.

Dude, go have a beer, I'll buy!!

No one has mentioned Hilary except you.

GW Bush = male, current President of the United States

Hillary Clinon = female, ex First Lady

Notice the difference?

Lets wait and see how GW does on the current fuel price crisis. Perhaps he launch an investigaton of the big oil companies for price gouging like he threatened do in the Gulf States retailers (ZERO TOLERANCE) or perhaps he'll let the big oil companies gouge us forever. Time will tell

Please try to keep to the topic at hand, and keep the political arguments in the Politics Forum.

Thanks!

I didn't intend to turn this into a political discussion,but I have to say,Bush surely dropped the ball on this,but there is plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the isle.

Exactly how did he drop the ball ... please detail it for us ... I'm still trying to figure how any president would have done better.

Thats the intelligence that gets the job done :rolleyes: If you don't have the mind power to do anything but misspell someone's name thinking your clever (oh yes that was sooo clever :rolleyes: ) than please spare everyone of the wittiness and contribute something worthwhile.

GW isn't perfect but I haven't seen a politician that is, they are all screwing up this country one way or another and it's because we are letting them. In the meantime why don't you ask your local or state government why they are putting so many taxes on your fuel and not providing you any relief? Again I point out the fact that gas was 2. 00 a gallon in one state and 3. 25 in another state, how in a right mind would anyone conclude that the president of the United States is personally responsible whether democrat or republican?

That's just one example but at some point people have to take responsiblity and educate themselves on the big picture. It's to easy to point a lazy finger at one person. There are ton's of political CROOKS in this country and believe it or not they are on both sides of the fence.

Here's a novel idea---why not all of us take our excess energy and spare time this weekend to volunteer loading a Red Cross, Salvation Army, or kind-hearted local trucking company trailer that's scheduled to head out to the New Orleans area this weekend, instead of pointlessly bantering on about who's fault it is, who dropped the ball, etc etc etc.

The people living down there would give their life savings for running water and a meal... not a hot meal, just a meal. With real drinkable water. Yet here we are yapping on & on about who did what, or didn't do what, who caused the problem, with our high-speed 'net access, cable TV, air conditioning, and a fridge full of yummy munchies.

I work nights--got off at 1:30am and managed to get my fat lazy *** out of bed in time to help load a 53' dry van with non-perishable food items so a local O/O can spend his Labor Day weekend trucking it down to New Orleans out of the goodness of his heart, so yea I've earned the right to preach a little. :p :-laf

Seriously, it happened, it's a mess, the only productive thing to do now is help the relief effort.

You know, Hayden, I enjoy ragging people who laugh at a man's opinion and call him a moron. Oh and I really liked the post about "Hitlery" Clinton. Sorry, I can only control myself for so long :rolleyes:

OIL COMPANYS ARE MAKING RECORD PROFITS!!!

I Know, I know, it's probabily just a coincidence that good ole Dubya is a Texas oil man,

and I think that maybe a good many of his constituants are too. ;)

Thank your for your efforts... both here in this forum and helping Katrina victims.

No need to thank me; the thanks goes to all the members who make this place great.

There's only so much banging of an empty barrel a guy can take, though. :D
