Well it blew tonight on the way to town for dog food, @ least that way I can blame it on the dogs. It sure seemed like it was the ticket but I guess that this turbo just can't handle the type of boost I was looking for. I was driving down the road @ about 42#s of boost and KABOOM it let go. Hope the EPA was not taken any satellite photos of the area cause there must have been a 1/8 mile of white smoke. :rolleyes:

POOH POOH ACCRUES @ least I was willing to give it a shot,it was a good learning experience and ahella lota fun while it lasted.

Oh yeah, Andrew I'll let you take all the pictures you want:D

Dam dean that sucks. I guess it'a all for the best though, I have a feeling pretty soon you would've sucked the dash through that hole in the firewall... ;)

Dean,

If you come to the dyno day, bring the turbo, I think some pics of it would be cool anyways! :) Sorry to hear about your bad luck through. :(

Variable Geo Turbo

It was a neat experiment eh Dean? Sorry to hear she cut loose on ya:( I haven't gotten to excited about the VGT for the reason you discovered. Another feller I know had tested one and had the same results, BOOM!!!:eek: Not good:{

I have a new idea as to how to deal with the Iraqis. We'll drop turbo chargers on them!:D

Darn dogs. Sorry to hear about the turbo Dean. You should have let it live a couple more days so you could have given me a ride first. :)

I will get another one running, I think it's a great turbo:D for a mildly BOMBED truck which is all I want out of this 24valve. Next time we'll have to keep turbo speed down a little more and change the program parameters. I'm not giving up on this setup and anyway there is no reason to :{ and whine over a blown turbo.
