Doing a quote type reply to :
When I click on a smilie the screen jumps to "top of page", nothing is entered into the text box.
Same action results when I click on the font control icons, like BOLD.
The post icon took the click okay.
Clicked on "preview post". Went to top of page, text retained. Smilie code entered manually stuck and worked. Smilies that were clicked on did not show up.
Manage Attachments Window:
* tried to upload a file, got message it had already been uploaded.
* then the "close window" box in center of screen would not work.
* tried to use the "close window" link in top right corner, nada.
* "posting pictures in a thread" link did work, brought up new page.
* using "control-W" to close that window did work (but that is a
* feature of IE rather than V3.
Submit post worked even though all of the above transpired.
POST QUICK REPLY:
* server running very slow, but you explained that.
* even though text box had not come up yet, I got the follow error message while the page was still loading:
The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:
1) Please complete both the subject and message fields. Press the back button, correct the problem and try again.
2) The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters
* Page is now loaded. All appears to be normal with the exception of the error message box above the "Reply To Thread" title.
* fONT, SIZE, COLOR tabs not working
* Bold tab caused screen to jump to 'TOP'
* mouse over text control icons does not pop up help text
* all previous comments made in "guided mode"
* now clicking to "advanced mode"
* same action as the four previously described results.
* all smilie buttons have the same effect, jumps to TOP.
My synopsis is the Visual Basic code is not currently working and all of the above will be fixed simualtaneously when the VB code is turned ON.
gotta run, duty calls, my pager is beeping.....
