Well, "Great White" is pretty well all finished up on the mods...

1. Carter 4600 pusher pump

2. Edge Comp

3. Geno's "A" pillar 2 guage cluster, Westach boost/EGT, westach fuel pressure.

Stock fuel pressures at the VP44 were 15 at idle, around 12 at cruise, 9 at WOT. After the 4600 pusher install, 25 psi idle, 21 cruise (2000 rpm, 70 mph), and 16 psi WOT. I bit the bullet, and installed a relay keyed by the stock pump to then apply separate 12 volts to the 4600 - running the 4600 straight pushed as high as 10 psi THRU the stock pump, making it hard to start the engine!

Bought my own Carter 4600 from Jegs for $72, and a Radio Shack 12 volt relay with 15 amp contacts for $8 - and than was it! No need for a kit at nearly double the price... . ;)

The Comp does NOT have the pump wire connected yet, running on level 1, sub 3 - feels real strong, will know more after a few more miles - max boost running empty looks like 28 psi, EGT's under the same conditions look like 1100 - a bit high, will play around with the sub menu to see if a bit more fuel will lower EGT...

First impressions are, it seems as tho I have about the same power/accelleration now in 5th that I have in 4th with the Comp off - should pull our 5er noticeably better in the hills - will know in about 3 weeks... And will probably have the pump wire connected by then as well... As it is, when ya hit the GO pedal, things start happening REAL fast!;) :D :D
