Pullrite Superglide Hitch Failure!!!

It would not fly for my wife, too dark inside. As we plan and spec our eventual cold weather escape trailer the tinted windows needed for Arizona put her right into a quivering fit....:D

Looks like a fairly well contructed unit just the same.

Mike.

We're now on our 4th 5th wheel RV. One lesson I've learned in this progression - if Momma ain't happy, then nobody's happy. Enjoy your new Pinnacle!! (We owned 2 Jayco Designers back in the late 1990s - they were good, solid RVs.)

Only thing I told her was that it would NOT have that "butternut yellow"(praline) leather in the living area. Im not really sure why I wasted my breath though, if she decides she likes the butternut Im sure Ill end up sitting on a butternut colored couch.

One of the most profoundly true statements ever spoken!
Guess Im a little nervous about where in the heck we will be shopping 18-24 months from now... whats beyond PINNACLE??

Anyone have a Pinnacle series? Are they worth the extra $$$$ over the Premier series? Just bought an Eagle 33.5RETS about 18 months ago and its been great. This Pinnacle seems excessive to me for weekenders like us... but the wifey doesnt think so..

Why do people want the TV beside them instead of in front of them. I would take the 36RSGS any day before the 36REQS!!!!!!

Vs this. Why take a seat on the 10 yard line (getting a sore neck watching the game) when you can have one on the 50 yard line.

With Butternut trimmed accent / throw pillows to match......:D

I know how that goes. If it were up to me I would have white walls, black leather furniture and the biggest frigin' flatscreen that the trailer sidewalls could support. Simple..

Yes, the fine time honored tradition of compromise....

What I have not revealed during the ongoing negotiations is the fact that I can be simply surrounded in frilly stuff, candle warmers and potpourri as long as I am not cold........:D

I can always go outside....

After 45 years of marriage, I've long since learned to pick my battles VERY CAREFULLY. Most aren't worth the conflict and aftermath.....

I cannot speak for anyone else, but we LOVE the optional upgraded fireplace on the end. The one we are going to look at has it with the 60" tv. Not a fan of the "popup" tv.

It's your decision to keep peace. and they (partner always win) But, with a rig this wide, why only one entrance to the bath? in the hall way. If and when you stop for a break and you want a snack, looks like you have to put two slides out to get to the fridge. There is more use of the Islands than ever before, I just don't care for them. And the dark coloring in the interior is not for me either. When I have looked at new rigs I look for the "come hither and have a seat" type appearance inside. And to be able to use the rig With all the slides in, if needed. On mine I can stay in it with the slides in and have access to the fridge and watch the TV. and it's just a hair shorter than yours. But not a Jayco.
I hope I didn't offend your decision but having been down the road a bit my choice is a bit different than most.

My wife is looking also but she does not like the RET systems on most trailers. She said that sitting in the theater seating she would get a kink in her neck so she wants the RLS in our next unit. She has been looking and we have narrowed it down to three different models all from different manufactures. The first one would be the Heartland Big Country, the second Grand Design Solitude or the third one Evergreen Bay Hill model.

So I said OK but we need a 1 ton SRW truck to pull them, and she does not want any payments so I am in good shape for now.

We have been leaning towards this kind of layout...You can access the bathroom with the second door in transit without dealing with any slides.

Here's the floor plan of our 2014.5 Mobile Suites 38RSSA - the layout is very similar to the Jayco Pinnacle you're considering. One thing that was a must for us is that the bathroom and the fridge can be accessed while traveling without running a slide out. This floor plan allows that.
