... I thought I would post this again. I did it last year, and it was a big hit! :D

A CUMMINS CHRISTMAS

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the shop

Not an engine was running they had come to a stop

The stockings were hung on the workbench with care

In hopes that accessories would soon be in there

The owner was nestled all snug in his bed

While visions of chrome parts danced in his head

A dream about Stage 3’s or maybe a bed liner

New tires and wheels nothing else could be finer

When out on the roof there arose such a clatter

The sound of a Cummins made my heart pitter patter

Away to the window I flew like a flash

Tore open the shutter and lifted the sash

The street light provided a much needed glow

I could just see an outline of something below

When what to my wondering eyes should appear

But a Cummins powered sleigh and a guy drinking beer

This big fat red driver so lively and quick

His hand on the shifter of his new 6 speed stick

More rapid than a Duramax as he burned up the street

He ushered a challenge "ain't no Chevy I can't beat"

No Dasher, No Dancer

No Prancer and Vixen

No Comet, No Cupid

No Donner and Blitzen

The're all obsolete now I've got me a Ram

Those Reindeer can be served with the turkey and ham.

Shovelhead's post reminded me of Evan's little story from a few years back, so instead of re-posting it, I thought I'd just bump it back up to the top.

Enjoy

Well no wonder I could not remember it. I have been setting here trying to stimulate my brain about it. Anything back that far is history. :)

Back to the top for 2007.
It's after Thanksgiving, so in the great American spirit of maximum commercialization, it's now Christmas season.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
