Got my truck yesterday. Been loving every minute of it. I gotta call the dealer back. The blower fan only works on high. Other than that, not problems. I'm pulling the silencer ring tonight. :-laf I'll try and get some pics up over the weekend. As for the question of it bring an 01 or 01. 5 from the last thread, it was built 10/00 so I'm assuming 01 with disc brakes. Gotta get back to pulling the ring off.

If it has rear disks it is an 01. 5 if it has drums it is an 01

Try not to lift the hood in the morning and stare at the engine while you have your coffee... ... . for hours. People start to wonder what's going on.

Took it out for a spin minus silencer ring. One word: awesome! I didn't throw it away just yet though. I'll have it hooked up to the trailer this weekend, and we'll see how I feel about it after that. So far so good though!

Where at in SE Iowa are you? If you are out and about at the right time, you may see my truck out and around up there. If you want to know what the truck will sound like with a load and pulling a good hill, go over to 218/27 south of Mt. Pleasant and pull those hills. FYI, I will be back there in late January to get my truck and to spend my two weeks off after this deployment.
